BiodivFuture 2026 Call for Proposals Now Open

The BiodivERsA+ European Biodiversity Partnership, supported under Horizon Europe, has launched the BiodivFuture 2026 Call to fund international research and innovation projects focusing on biodiversity, novel ecosystems and sustainable environmental transformation.

Eligible organisations from Türkiye may receive up to €175,000 per project through the TÜBİTAK 1071 Programme.

Scope of the Call

BiodivFuture 2026 aims to explore the impacts of environmental change on ecosystems and support innovative solutions for biodiversity conservation.

The call supports international R&D projects addressing:

• The functioning of novel ecosystems and biodiversity,

• The impacts of climate change and environmental transformation on ecosystems,

• The social and economic benefits of biodiversity.

Who Can Apply?

Universities, research organisations, public institutions, SMEs and large enterprises are eligible to participate.

Projects must be developed through international consortia involving partners from at least three different countries, subject to the call's specific eligibility requirements.

Funding and Application Details

• Maximum funding: €175,000

• Maximum project duration: 36 months

• International pre-proposal deadline: 10 November 2026

• TÜBİTAK national pre-proposal deadline: 16 November 2026
