An important grant opportunity is available under the Energy and Carbon Reduction (ECR) Support Program for businesses seeking to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon intensity arising from energy use.

The program aims to support businesses that improve their energy efficiency and carbon reduction performance. Applications submitted between 1 July and 30 September 2026 will be evaluated in line with the criteria and calculation methods defined under the program.

Who Can Apply for the ECR Support Program?

Businesses operating in the manufacturing industry and the buildings and services sector may apply.

Within the buildings and services sector, the following are particularly eligible:

• Hotels
• Shopping malls
• Hospitals
• Office buildings

How Much Grant Support Is Available?

Businesses that meet the required conditions may receive grant support based on the level of carbon reduction achieved.

The support amount may be:

• Up to 30% of 2026 energy expenses
• Subject to a maximum of TRY 18,061,775

How Does the Evaluation Process Work?

Applications will be assessed in accordance with the Implementation Procedures and Principles of the ECR Support Program, based on the information provided in the application file and the relevant calculation methods.

Following the scoring process, the top 10 applicants in each sector will be included in the monitoring process.

The overall process is as follows:

Application → Evaluation → Top 10 → Monitoring Process → Final Evaluation → Grant Payment

After the monitoring period is completed, businesses that achieve more than 70% carbon reduction in the final evaluation to be carried out in 2027 will be eligible for grant support based on the reduction rate achieved.
